I have worked with Educators of America for two years as a teacher in their Namibia Connections program. My students have made friends in Swakopmund, Namibia, and have had the joy of exchanging pen pal letters as well as chatting via Zoom. They have gained essential insight into the lives and culture of their new friends. EoA has enabled me to connect and network with colleagues in Africa opening my eyes to similarities and differences in the world of education. The trainings we've experienced have connected us to other teachers in WNY and have enriched our knowledge of Project Based Learning. Thank you to EoA for broadening our horizons in such amazing ways!

I have been working with a team from Educators of America for two years. I cannot begin to describe how it has enhanced my life. Thanks to them, my students and I have connected with teachers and students thousands of miles away. Every day, we work to bridge the distance between cultures and to build friendships. In times like today, and every day, it is so important to realize how interconnected we are despite miles and an ocean between us.

I love working with Educators of America! As a grant manager, I have the opportunity to work side-by-side with 3 men who make me feel as if my grant is the only project they are working on. They have built positive and professional relationships with the grant team and the teachers in all the districts. We are in constant communication no matter where in the world they are. The professional development they provided was fully focused on the objectives of the grant. Our teachers are fully supported and connected to EOA at every segment of the project.
Their expertise is only matched by their enthusiasm and energy every time we meet.

Working with this organization has been a treasure! A team of people dedicated to making GREAT things happen for students. Their Project -Based Learning training and connections to schools in Namibia have combined to create unforgettable experiences for students here in Western New YorK! Their attention to detail and professionalism has allowed students to connect with students ont he other side of the globe, literally shrinking the world and helping students begin to see the vast differences, as well as the AMAZING similarities among people from another country! EOA ROCKS!

One of this non-profits operations is called Building Cultural Bridges. Working with schools in Namibia Africa and Western New York they set up video conferencing so that students in the schools can see each other and exchange ideas and talk about their varying ways of life. For kids on both sides this may be the only contact they have outside of their local areas. What a wonderful way to expand the thinking and experiences of young minds! As a volunteer I was able to assist in setting up the video equipment in Namibia and also donated time and materials to helping the teachers and kids build an app controlled robot.

The people that comprise Educators of America, Inc. have such incredibly unique experiences and qualities that I feel sets them apart from so many other education oriented non-profits. I was fortunate enough to attend a Building Cultural Bridges professional development session and was amazed by their wealth of knowledge and passion for their projects. It was absolutely contagious and I hope their programs spread across the United States. The world needs more organizations like them and I cannot wait to see what their future as an organization holds.

A once In a lifetime experience! Our trip to Namibia with the Educators of America, nonprofit organization, was beyond extraordinary. Working along side the staff, we instantly became part of an amazing journey. Teaching the Namibian children, first aid and hand washing procedures, self esteem and leadership skills, and the benefits of teamwork were just a few of the topics. The children’s curiosity and eagerness to learn and share, was truly amazing. Through the Educators of America’s, Building Cultural Bridges Program, I learned how rewarding it is to connect with other cultures, and the importance of giving. Thank you, Cathy L, RN

Educators of America has been great to work with! They have helped us connect with schools in Namibia, Africa, to participate in cross-cultural exchange. We never would have had these opportunities without them.

I can tell you first hand, the work Educators of America provides is outstanding!
Connecting teachers with the tools needed to pass along quality education to their students is immeasurable.
Connecting young adults of cultural diversities, opening their minds to different traditions, customs and languages and in turn bridging the gap of indifference.
I am proud to be involved as a volunteer with this nonprofit and the endless positive work it does.

As an evaluation researcher studying innovations in teaching and learning, I've had the opportunity to work with a lot of nonprofit technical assistance and professional development providers over the past 15+ years. Educators of America is the only one for which I've volunteered to serve on a board. The EOA mission is a perfect blend of idealism and pragmatism, and the team's commitment to research and evidence-based program design makes it a truly special experience to support their work.

Assisted in the development and facilitation of my pen pal program when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia. Fantastic communication skills and really try to understand what they can do to help you with your needs. Additionally, they are quick to respond and have had international experience.
