Causes: Arts & Culture, Radio
Mission: To disseminate educational information, including expanding the community of classical music lovers by sharing accessible classical music with everyone, everywhere, at any time. We entertain, educate and engage our audience with informed annoucers, programs, and publications. We strive to make it easy to appreciate and enjoy great classical music
Programs: Operation of not-for-profit, non-commerical, educational, fcc licensed fm radio station and other fcc licensed educational broadcast operations, for the area of central north carolina and southside virginia. We make our programming available to other public broadcasting outlets throughout north america (radio stations and cable television systems) without charge. We make our programming available to home satellite systems throughout north america without charge. Our programming is also available around the world at no charge via streaming on the internet. Grants are made to non-profit organizations which assist wcpe and parallel its mission.
