Causes: Education, Educational Services

Mission: Education Explosion, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization based in Baton Rouge, LA. Our mission is to provide academic enrichment, leadership and development of social skills through teaching and mentoring. We strive to motivate children to reach for greater achievement and improve academically. Our strategic plan encompasses using qualified teachers, research‐based curricula and instructional methods that facilitate personal growth and academic excellence.

Results: Our staff has touched the lives of over 200 children since 2010. We have contributed to building their confidence and helped with their academic growth and success.

Geographic areas served: East Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes.

Programs: After School Tutoring, Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom School (R), Mentorship
