Programs: Eden retirement center operates a 128 bed skilled nursing facility (care center) as a not-for-profit entity for the primary benefit of the edwardsville/glen carbon communities as well as surrounding areas. All beds are licensed and certified for medicare with 110 of these beds also certified for medicaid eligible residents. During the year 2014, the care center enabled 357 elders to obtain the comprehensive, quality skilled care they needed. This included attractive accomodations, extensive rehabilitative programs provided by compassionate staff, and interactive activities with residents of similar age and abilities. 21% of our services were provided to indigant medicaid beneficiaries, 16% to medicare recipients and the remaining 63% to various other seniors without regard to their ability to pay. The facility operated at a 3% gross profit margin in 2014 as revenues struggled to keep pace with the growing cost of providing quality care to our residents.

eden retirement center operates a 104 unit assisted living apartment complex as part of its continuing care retirement community. These accomodations and services are specifically designed to meet the needs of seniors in the edwardsville/glen carbon communities as well as surrounding areas. During 2014, 174 seniors enjoyed the comradery and peace of mind of our assisted living community.

eden retirement center operates an 52 unit senior living apartment complex and 20 senior living duplexes as a part of its continuing care retirement community. These accomodations are specifically designed to meet the needs of seniors in the edwardsville/glen carbon communities as well as surrounding areas. During 2014,97 seniors enjoyed the comradery of our senior community. Over half of our residents paysubstantantially less than the current market rate for similar accomodations as a result of eden's mission and commitment to qualitysenior living in our community.
