Mission: edACCESS, formerly known as ACCESS, was formed in 1992 out of a need for a mutual support organization for administrative computing personnel at small schools (typically less than 1,000 FTE students). Such schools rarely have more than a few staff involved in administrative computing, and the specialized needs for support and professional development are not available inside their employing institution. edACCESS now provides this critical support to U.S. and international schools.
Programs: Since 1992 edACCESS has held an annual conference, currently lasting four days. We have also organized specialized conferences from time to time. Our website, wiki, and listserv provide additional support venues to the administrative computing community.
