Mission: Eastside academy's mission is to inspire change in the lives of at-risk youth through high school education, counseling, recovery, housing and life skills programs in a christ-centered environment.
Programs: High school students who had previously experienced struggles and failure in schools were provided with a quality education with personalized attention that enabled them to succeed academically.
students were provided support through daily recovery groups and one-on-one counseling, in order to address trauma and addiction. In addition, eastside academy provides long-term housing for our most fragile and disadvantaged youth. Youth who were experiencing homelessness or who were living in unsafe or unstable conditions were provided with safe, stable housing that enabled them to get a high school education and treatment.
students were matched with volunteers from the community to participate in a mentoring program that helped them learn about healthy relationships. Alumni were also given this opportunity.
