Target demographics: Provide the most efficient, high quality service available. Easterseals Louisiana believes that individuals with disabling conditions should have choices with respect to services and living options available to them. As a result we maintain as our primary goal that individuals and their families should receive services in the least restrictive environment available to them. Easterseals Louisiana believes that each person has potential for growth regardless of their respective disability. Even the most significantly impaired individual can have a quality of life with the appropriate level of support. Emphasis should be on an individual’s strengths versus weaknesses.

Geographic areas served: 45 Parishes in the State of Louisiana.
Programs: • Support Coordination - programs actively serve over 3,500 individuals of all ages through an array of programs including those for children, adults, and the elderly. • System Point of Entry (SPOE) Part C Program/Early Intervention - offices assist families of children from birth to up to age 3 in obtaining early intervention services • Behavioral Health Services - programs support those who need ongoing active assistance to live in the community, and those in need of transitional housing • Transitional Permanent Supportive Housing - Provides a safe and comfortable environment for those with behavioral health, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders with the ultimate goal of independent living. • Campership - provides assistance with camp fees for children and adults with special needs • Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR) - Assists individuals with integration as an active and productive member of the community, with the least amount of ongoing supports or interventions. • Crisis Services - Assists in reducing the use of hospitalizations or visits to the emergency room by the delivery of immediate community based treatments and interventions for families in crises. • Community Psychiatric Support Treatment Services (CPST) - Provides goal-directed support and solution focused interventions, which are intended to assist individuals achieve objectives. • Autism Spectrum Disorder Services – provides PEERS® Training for adolescents and their parents to improve social skills
