Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Group Homes, Human Services, Job Training, Sheltered Employment
Mission: To support individuals with special needs in pursuit of homes, jobs, and activites of their choice within our community.
Programs: Group homes: seven group homes offering twenty-four hour supervision, with each home having a private bedroom for each person.
three employment services are provided to adults with intellectual/developmental disbility: sheltered workshop, two community based sites- a small business doing silk screen printing and a four to six person crew at cascade corporations manufacturing facility, and intergrated, community based employment is provided through the employment services team which partners with oregon vocational rehabilitation and provides discovery profiles, job development , job placement and individual job coaching support. Day support activity, dsa, is provided through the life enhancement activities program, leap. Leap offers broader access to the community through activities chosen by the program participants and conducted in integrated settings alongside nondisabled individuals. Leap participants can also supplement their schedules with a variety of in-house activities.
supported living: each person chooses where to live and staff support is provided at the level needed.
