Mission: To improve the availability and quality of healthcare services in the town of east hampton, ny for the benefit of the general public, including residents of east hampton, visitors, the indigent and underinsured.
Programs: East hampton healthcare foundation provides people in east hampton with:a convenient medical care center with qualified adult and pediatric physicians and medical specialists in a state-of-the-art facility. The foundation underwrites the medical care of underserved residents through a program administered by several family practice physicians and pediatricians located in its center, and underwrites pharmaceuticals for underserved residents with life-threatening and chronic illness. An affiliation with southampton hospital assists in recruiting doctors needed to resolve the shortage of professional medical sub-specialists, now and in the future. Space is provided for other health services, such as radiology, mammography, pharmacy, and social service agencies.
the foundation has supported leasehold improvements & maintainance of an urgent care facility for the residents of the town of east hampton, which now provides day, evening and weekend medical care coverage.
