Mission: Donated by the graves family in 1937 to provide learning opportunities and out-of-door experiences for girls and young women, eagle island camp has developed generations of women leaders. Programs: Eagle island, inc was officially granted permission to reestablish the camp by the town of santa clara. Eagle island was opened for limited public access in 2017, which included a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the graves' gift, several historic tours, and hosting a plein air artist event. Eagle island, inc. Performed critical repairs and maintenance. Capital projects included repairs to the foundation and roof of the mariner boat house and the carpenter shed. Volunteers maintained trails, installed new flooring in the shower house and restored windows and doors, as well as numerous other painting and repair projects.
