I, my family, and my friends will be forever grateful for The North Country Life Flight team. I was flown by them after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. Without the quick transport to advanced care and the attention of the skilled Life Flight medical team, my husband and I truly believe I would have not survived what my neurosurgeon later described to me as a “fatal illness.” They also helped to minimize my disabilities and I’ll be forever thankful to them for that as well. I so appreciate the dedication and professionalism of the entire North Country Life Flight team. When I called to thank them I was told, “We are just neighbors helping neighbors.” They are indeed. I now volunteer with them on the “ground team,” helping them to be ready for the next patient in need. 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, they are working to help save lives. The North Country is so lucky to have this service that is deserving of our support. When advanced care is hours away by ground ambulance, having North Country Life Flight available is critical.
