Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: This organization is established to prevent cruelty to animals through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement of abused or starving horses. We have worked with local law enforcement, animal control, veterinarians and other rescue groups, such as best friends animal society in southern utah, hsus, aspca, and days end farm horses rescue in maryland. We have assisted in placement and transport of horses throughout the western united states.
Programs: During 2017, we were able to rescue an additional 13 horses. During the year 9 horses were adopted and 8 went to foster care. Three horses died during the year, several from a history of abuse. At the end of 2017 we had 21 horses remaining at the ranch. Our total volunteer hours for 2017 was 5,591.
