Mission: At "drifter's hearts of hope" we are dedicated to empowering kids with special needs to rescue slaughter bound horses. Our mission is to give these kids the opportunity to give back to the community through the courageous effort of giving horses a second chance at life. Our kids are learning the responsibility of caring for a creature that is dependent on them, as well as independence, confidence, and the joy of loving a horse. Nothing is more pure than the love between a child and a horse. Most importantly, these kids are seeing the benefit of their hard work every time they look into the eyes of a horse that they have rescued. . . . The powerful gift of diligence. . . . For their determination has saved yet another soul.
Programs: Fundraising for horses, adopting out horses, tack sales from donations. Fundraising parties.
