Mission: The dr. Phil foundation was established to provide gifts, grants and contributions to section 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. The foundation may, under strict screening guidelines, provide grants to individuals, but only if such individuals cannot afford access to quality care or educational opportunities. The primary emphasis will be organizations that address (i) youth, (ii) public health (particularly issues of obesity), or (iii) parenting, human behavior and interpersonal relationships.

support for adult victims of domestic violence or injury: the foundation has provided grants to adults for support dealing with domestic violence and payment of expenses for health, welfare and other related items for adult victims of domestic violence.
support for child victims of violence, neglect or injury:the foundation has provided grants to children for support dealing with domestic violence as well as payment of expenses for health, welfare and other related items for child victims of domestic violence.
