They welcomed and assisted over 150,000 visitors and downtown workers. Provided presence near metro stops and special events and deterred and reported problems, emergencies, or activities requiring police or fire/rescue response. The corporation distributed information through lobby fairs and visits to office buildings, on special events/activities, and on safety awareness. Escorted services upon request during evening hours and referred services for persons living on the street. Also, provided surveys of retail, restaurant and other services available in the area.
