Causes: Animals, Wildlife Preservation & Protection
Mission: The organization's purpose and objectives are to advance the cause of conservation in all phases, to stimulate interest in and conserve the fish, game, soil, water and forest resources, to promote sound management of michigan's natural resources and environment, and to promote sportsmanship, boating safety, hunter safety and gun safety education; to be non-political and non-sectarian.
Programs: Youth education: provide tracks magazine to area schools, annual birds of prey or wetlands encounter programs, camp sponsorships, free fishing day, and rimfire gun education program; all to advance an appreciation of the out of doors to boys and girls.
hunter safety: classroom and hands on training in gun safety. Provide necessary education for licensure.
conservation promotion: provide 115 acre natural environment and facilities for various local non-profit groups use including youth groups such as 4-h and scouting. Host of youth education and awareness days.
