Mission: From its modest beginning, the Doheny Eye Institute has emerged as a world-renowned center for vision research and education. The Institute ranks among the nation's top centers as a recipient of national eye institute grants, which funds about 85% of all vision research in the country. The physicians and basic scientists at Doheny are also members of the teaching faculty of the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
