Mission: The Disabilities Law Project ("DLP") has been, since 1981, a state-wide, non-profit law firm providing free legal services to adults and children with disabilities, their families and their groups. DLP works to ensure that individuals with disabilities have equal and unhindered access to employment, transportation and public accommodations; to enforce the rights of those individuals to vocational, habilitative, health, educational and other services; and to protect them from abuse and neglect. DLP's purpose is to advocate for the full implementation of civil rights for persons with mental and physical disabilities with particular emphasis on the right of persons with disabilities to live as integral parts of their communities.
