I contacted this organization and left several voicemails; None of my voicemails were returned. I called multiple times and could not reach anyone who could help me. They claim to provide medical assistance yet don't really come through when you contact them. It's really unprofessional to not return phonecalls and appear absolutely vacant. Is this organization actually existing to serve?

Mission: To promote community awareness and healthy living to prevent and manage diabetes through innovative community programs.
Programs: Education program provides classes throughout the metro atlanta area for persons diagnosed with diabetes. The class instructs participants (and their support person(s)) how to control and manage their diabetes on a daily basis to prevent life-long complications.
emergency medical assistance provides medicines to persons with diabetes for a 30 day period. The medical assistance program provides participants, who income qualify, with medicines and medical supplies for a period of six months. Participants in the 6 month program must attend education classes.
health screening identifies individuals who are at risk of developing diabetes and those who may have diabetes and may be unaware that they have the disease.
