Mission: The foundation promotes education, improvement and research activities in the field of fire safety and prevention, emergency medical care and beach safety. A junior lifeguard training program providing cpr training, water safety and life saving skills. An aed program placing aeds in public places. Awards are given to firefighter children for education assistance.
Programs: Junior lifeguard program - children with age range of 8 through 16 are offered the opportunity to attend an eight week junior lifeguard program beginning in june of each summer. Instruction includes cpr training, water safety and life saving skills. Also, the foundation has been certified by okaloosa county school board qualifying the program participants to receive high school physical education credits for completion of the course.
