Causes: Public Transportation Systems
Mission: The organization is a partnership of public and private entities in the south i-25 urban corridor working to promote relationships between the partners for the purpose of identifying and developing trasportation solutions that will enhance mobility, drive economic development and increase the image within the southeast i-25 corridor.
Programs: The landscape improvements program functions to enhance the area surrounding the south metropolitan corridor. This includes projects for new landscaping design to keep the area aesthetically pleasing, as well as shelters along the light rail system to protect commuters from the outside elements.
the landscape maintenance program is used to provide maintenance and upkeep in the area surrounding the south metropolitan corridor.
transportation demand management (tdm) consists of programs, incentives and strategies to manage the demand for transportation. Tdm works to reduce commuter travel time by efficiently managing the flow of traffic rather than allocating money towards projects that increase road capacity.
