Causes: Economic Development
Mission: To promote davis county as a convention and tourism destination to include hotel facilities, attractions, activities, restaurants and shopping and by doing so, enhancing the local davis county economy, generating new tax revenue, and improving the quality of life for visitors and residents.
Programs: Generated leads and secured business for hotels and facilities located within the county. Planned and executed sales missions, buyer education trip, placed cold calls to customers, particpated in industry trade shows/events and local community events and hosted site visits. Researched and placed advertising in trade publications, hosted multiple utah office of tourism marketing programs to include print and advertising to grow visitation to our community. Promoted community to the film industry by attending trade shows, cold calling customers, hosting location scouts, and responding to inquiries.
