Programs: The key organizational role of the cri is to facilitate and promote the partnerships and collaborations among the community leaders / stakeholders within academia, government, and industry in enunciating the vision to create a regional cyber technology cluster through program services and activities that follow a regional innovation systems approach that include a highly developed research infrastructure and access to a highly qualified workforce. In 2017 we initiated an educational series, "dine and development", a monthly lunch time lecture series on cyber security topics that are of interest to regional stakeholders, local businesses, academia and the air force research laboratory; collaborated with other regional non-for-profit organizations to market each unique capability to outside customers, partners and industries; coordinated and collaborated on 3 nsf (national science foundation) transition to practice proposal submissions that will enable the development and transition of technology to local industries and government organizations; and provided multiple cyber security presentations at various regional manufacturing extension partnership (mep) workshops sponsored by the mohawk valley community college advanced institute for manufacturing (mvcc aim).
