Mission: CMI's mission is to restore the 1925 Pueblo-revival style home of aviator and inventor, Glenn Hammond Curtiss, to its original splendor, creating a cultural center, a museum of early aviation in Miami-Dade County, FL, and aviation inventions by Mr. Curtiss, a records archive of early aviation documents (Mr. Curtiss hold US pilot's license #1), performance spaces for art, music, dance and theater, meeting and civic spaces for the neighboring communities, and restoring the lush gardens to become a trail head, connecting to the Miami-Dade County grenways.
