Since its foundation in the 1950's, I have experienced decades of stimulating mind and heart expanding programs at CIF. All programs are inclusive and open to the public, offer an integrated perspective both spiritually and culturally and are tolerant and welcoming to all belief systems. As a PhD graduate from its academic wing, the California Institute of Asian Studies (now, the California Institute of Integral Studies), I have benefited greatly from over 50 years of Sunday morning programming and class and meeting space at this facility. From being a venue for visiting scholars, saints and mystics to a space for classical dance and cultural programming, CIF is a gem in San Francisco that preserve's the City's heritage of multicultural and intellectual tolerance.
