Programs: First time home buyer down payment assistance program: the culinary and bartenders housing partnership provides eligible participants with a loan of up to $20,000 to use for a down payment for a home. The down payment loan is a zero percent interest loan, which must be repaid upon sale, transfer or refinance of the property. The participant must reside in the home as a primary residence. A total of $1,687,678 in loans were closed in the year ending 12/31/16.
homebuyer education and counseling program: the culinary and bartenders housing partnership also offers homebuyer education and counseling. The objective of this program is to create informed, educated and responsible homebuyers. Approximately 915 participants received homebuyer education and 304 participants received one-on-one homebuyer financial counseling.
