Mission: Multiple county emergency telephone system boards (etsbs) created by illinois statute and organized through an intergovernmental agreement to pursue a regional next generation 911 system. Next generation 911 is designed to provide access to emergency services from all sources and to provide multimedia data capabilities for emergency service organizations. The intent of the organization is to acquire federal grants to fund the project.
Programs: The purpose of the organization is to secure funding to jointly purchase appropriate next generation 911 equipment and use said equipment for hte benefit of all the 911 emergency service programs of the participating 911 providers.
