Mission: Christ the king preparatory school provides an affordable alternative for urban families who want a small, catholic, co-educational, college preparatory secondary school. The high school also assists students through work programs with corporate sponsors affiliated with the corporate internship program (cip). Christ the king prep has four classes, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. The majority of the students come from newark, irvington, and east orange and 90% are eligible for the federal free and reduced lunch program.
Programs: Provide an affordable alternative for economically disadvantaged urban families who want their children to attend a small, catholic, co-educational, college preparatory secondary school. Christ the king preparatory school serves 260 students.
