I work with a group of seniors that looks forward to having a program here at the center from Creative Aging. They really love this programs. It brings back memories from the music programs, it teaches them about certain exercises that they can do either at the center or at home. They don't do art very much here so I brought in an art person here and hung up their art work on the wall in their lunchroom. Thanks for offering this programs for the seniors in the city. You do a wonderful job providing programs for seniors.

Creative Aging needs more funding and right now the professional talent who work with the agency are accepting less pay due to budget cuts. The musicians and singers are willing to work for less for a while, until we get the help we need. These wonderful artists love bringing an hour of fun and joy to the people who need it most. We work at preparing many different themed shows. We hope to continue our work, but we need funding!Creative is very well run and the staff is always prompt and courteous. We love what we do."Let's go on with the show!"

We have been involved with Creative Aging for about ten years. They are very organized and easy to work with. Interacting with seniors through music has been a joyous experience for us. Creative Aging offers a service to the community in that they provide a diverse pool of talent that can be enjoyed by a population who might otherwise be unable to access it.

As a performer I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Creative Aging Cincinnati. They are very easy to work with and everything is always organized so that all I need to do is show up and do my thing. Although the pay is less than what I expect in other circumstances, I have really enjoyed serving this community through Creative Aging.

I have been playing violin in various nursing homes and senior centers under the auspices of creative Aging Cincinnati for many years. Creative Aging Cincinnati takes care of setting up everything for me so that all I need do is show up and play. (This is crucial for a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra who has little to no free time ... and I have two children under the age of four.) In my experience, I have performed in dozens of facilities within a forty mile radius of downtown Cincinnati, and every visit has been a thoroughly rewarding experience. I truly enjoy playing for appreciative audiences, and I am enriched by the life stories audience members share when I invite them to interact with me as I perform and take their requests. The opportunities Creative Aging Cincinnati provide for both performers and audience are invaluable.

I think I enjoy performing for the Seniors as much as they like the experience. Over the many years I've been with this organization I have always been treated fairly and hope to continue with them for many more years. Keep up the good work!!

I've brought backyard wildlife, specifically BATS to meet the Seniors involved with this program. It's the most fun I have each year. The seniors are so willing to learn and they have a great time meeting the Big Brown Bats for the first time in their lives. They have so many questions and so much humor in seeing these small creatures that do so much for us in our backyards.

My trio provides programming for the hundreds of facilities served by Creative Aging Cincinnati. The staff of this non-profit tries to recruit artists who will ensure interactive programming for their senior audience. They encourage the development of experiences that will enrich the lives of seniors, engaging them in the world through stimulating, hands-on participation in the arts. In our past three years of association with the staff, board, and facilities served by Creative Aging, we've been able to witness the difference these programs make in the well-being of area seniors.

We have a total of 100 senior residents living independentaly. We have used Creative Aging programs for 2 years. The residents look forward to them and get together and socialize before and after the events. They are always left with a feeling of positive wellbeing and uplifting spirits due to the caring and professional attitudes of the musicians, artists and speakers.

I have played for several organizations through creative aging. In every case, it has been good for the audiences who otherwise might not have attended our concerts due to time and distance. At the same time, it has been good for us to have performance goals and an appreciate audience.

I'm Jody Anderson, Nostalgic Singer & Entertainer from Dayton, OH and I provide entertainment for seniors through Creative Aging. What a great organization this is! For those who might not normally be able to afford professional entertainment, Creative Aging makes it possible for so many! I've had so many rewarding & touching experiences through this organization! The seniors are so grateful, appreciative, and kind. And, Bev & Grace are a joy to work with. Truly this is one of the most worthwhile organizations I've ever worked with!

I am a harpist and fiddler who performs at Retirement Centers through Creative Aging. The music that I and others provide is an excellent experience for residents and staff that far exceeds mere entertainment. Creative Aging deserves more funding so it can continue to do it's fine work. Tina Larkin www.tinasuelarkin.com

I'm a musician who has played for Creative Aging for 4 years. The staff is always warm and caring and the residents of the facilities I visit love to have special programs, especially music. These programs bring a lot of healing energy to the residents and can reach them in ways that nothing else can.

Creative Aging Cincinnati is an organization that brings unique experiences to the community's aging adults. I am both a program provider with Creative Aging as well as a professional at a local aging adult community. We are lucky to have funding for an Activity Department at the facillity for which I am a full time employee. Unfortunately, most facillities cannot afford this luxury. Creative Aging fills that void and brings unique experiences to our beloved aging adults. My firsthand experience tells me that the programs made accessible by this special organization are well deserved and needed in this community.

New to the program offerings by CAC, HealthRHYTHMS and Clavinova Connection provide fun, stress-free recreational music-making opportunities for all ages, all backgrounds. Especially designed for the non-musician, sessions provide for creative and instinctual rhythmic and melodic expression as well as non-verbal responses. Contact Bev or Grace to have one of these programs demonstrated at your facility.

Through Creative Aging, I am able to take seniors on virtual journeys to places they may have only dreamed of visiting. Seniors learn about the country and its culture while viewing dramatic photos. During their "trip", pains and problems and the routine of life fade away . . . replaced by the joy of learning and the thrill of being transported to places where new and unusual sights stimulate curiosity and interest.

as a professional therapeutic storyteller (audibletherapies.com) and a musician, Bev and Grace have placed my musical group, The Harmonizing Dylans, in numerous settings we don't normally get booked. Our group was formed to do community programming and the experience has been positive and fulfilling. One look at our senior audiences enjoying our music gives us more back than we probably give in performance. This agency is vital to our vastly underserved seniors!

I have enjoyed every visit booked by Bev & Grace. They are very friendly and make me feel good about what I am doing for the arts and humanities center through my "Visitor From the Plains" programs (SunflowerTones.net). Though I earn less than I would booking on my own - far less now that their funding has been reduced - the dates are managed efficiently and pay is sent out quickly. This organization is worth strong support as we bring quality programs to our elders.

My nursing home partnered with Creative Aging in 2009, and I've overall, had a wonderful experience. Many new and talented artists/ musicians came to our facility to entertain our residents. Grace and Bev have been extremely helpful anytime I've needed assistance. I recommend Creative Aging to many entertainers, as I feel it's such a great resource for activity directors and other people in similar positions to use for booking talented entertainment.

By partnering with Creative Aging each year, I am able to offer the residents at Mercy St. Theresa a greater variety of quality music and arts entertainment and education than I could any other way. Creative Aging has gathered many of the top musicians, music groups and artists throughout the Cincinnati area and is able to offer them to senior living communities at a more reasonable rate than would otherwise be possible. I know that the residents at St. Theresa always rave about the programs that come from Creative Aging. As an Activity Director with a background in music, I know quality musicianship when I hear it and many of the individuals/groups are well-known throughout the community. My experience has been positive. Bev and Grace are very easy to work with and will accomodate any reasonable request. The residents at St. Theresa look forward to programs that come from Creative Aging, because they know that they will be outstanding! Jeanne Bilyeu, Director of Activities, Mercy St. Theresa

Hi Last year I found out about this wonderful program for musicians who would like to entertain at retirement centers mainly in Cincinnati, Ohio. They have been involved with helping the community and myself to find work and have the community enjoy some professional music and entertainment. I am handled very professional and payment is consistant. I worked with this company with a reduction on what I normally get paid but it helps both of us in the long run. I am proud of how the ladies that handle our bookings (Bev & Grace) as very friendly and makes you feel good about what you are doing for the arts and humanities center. I see alot of smiling faces when they don't feel like smiling and it should make the world feel better because of it. It was very sad when the budget was cut for the musicians at this time - it is hard times for everyone...but I love the people that they have contacted me with and I hope I can keep up with this important program. What a great idea...I pray we can keep up with this service. S Butcher
