My time as a client in the create residence was bittersweet. They helped me set a solid foundation to better my lifestyle and learn to live sober. Mr.Taylor ( Senior Counselor ) had an open door policy to let out any frustration that might bother you. They actually do care and love what they which makes it easier to do there job because they do it so effortlessly though it might take a toll. The Director , Mr.Miller brings a lot to the field , most of it being love. He genuinely cares for the staff and residents and that's what makes this facility untouchable. The constant love. All the counselors lend a hand in the rehabilitation of the clients, and they do there job well. Mr. Reyes , Ms. Camacho and Ms Williams all treated me beautifully. Operations also great people who do there job and handle it with dignity. All around , I came out a better person , and I am eternally grateful for everything they do in this field of work. The bitter part comes with all the brothers I made here , leaving them , knowing I won't be eating with them anymore or doing anything with them at all anymore. We were so close, but it's all for the better!

On July 2015 I entered create. I was hesitant at first and wanted everything done fast. A month into being there I saw the process of what the program wants. Mr miller and mr Taylor are family oriented individuals. It never seemed they were there for a pay check. I can recount countless times where both would spend there days off there. That level of commitment to help someone Going through life's obstacles is what separates them from counselors I have encountered in the past. On January of this year I graduated create. I sincerely that both these men for everything they've done for me. To this day I keep in contact with them. I know I have a friend for life.

I've had a delightful experience at Create Inc. Residential program in light of an extremely hard time in my life. At the time, I went through a terrible divorce and at the time before I was referred to Create. I didn't realize how much alcohol was impacting my life negatively. I was referred because I was found guilty for a DWI. When I was admitted to Create Residential, they welcomed me with open hands, clients and staff. It was hard coming out of the world from working, and handling my entire life with my fingers to not being able to touch anything of that sort in the beginning. Mr. Miller and Mr. Taylor assured me that I would be ok. As time went on through my treatment plan, things started to open up and move forward. I was able to return back to work after a certain amount of time, and I rode it out. Me being in this facility took away from my entire family and most importantly my son. Mr. Taylor and Mr. Miller did work with me, and at times went over and beyond for me as well. This experience has taught me a lot, gave me time to evaluate my life, put forth my goals so I can execute them, and most importantly stay focused for my son with a sober mind frame. I thank Create Inc. for working with me and giving me the opportunity to continue to be productive in society. I've learned , and never will forget.

I was at create young shelter last year and left the shelter this year and this place is like other shelters. You have people there with mental problems people with drug problems thieves The security guys are lazy and sit in the office watching videos some of them even cover up stuff for other clients they cannot be trusted I only felt safe during the day when the other workers were there. Some of the case workers are strict but at least they try to help. The kitchen lady is very snotty bad attitude and act like she pay for the food we eat This place did not have a housing worker to help us with housing stuff and when I left they still did not have a housing worker. 7 months and no housing worker? How do they expect to help people get out of the shelter? Right before I left the shelter the director quit and for weeks there was no director either. DHS need to investigate the company who owns and runs this shelter because they be very shady with the way they run things and how they treat their own people.

i was once a client at create and i cannot believe what im seeing posted i lived at create for 7 months and i was off on my own with supportive after care. im not the smartest person but its easy to tell that some of these reviews are written by the same person by the language used the reference to the word lady instead of respective position. MR. Soto was great, Ms. rice was no nonsense but did her job to the fullest and Ms. ali you would have to be the most ungrateful person in the world.
people cant just walk out of jail you have every right to walk out of create . my time at create was not easy it was a long road and i did my wrongs which was getting me no where when i started to do what my case worker asked of me everything else fell in place. as a client at create once before i can say this the shelter system is the shelter system i have heard other clients complain about nothing as they did nothing i my self am also guilty of this i would bet my life that the person posting this has 20 write ups for smoking weed and cigs in building , breaking curfew etc so please in short try being a man and the rest will happen. (find your self) thanks create and all staff that i had the pleasure to meet and what role you may have played in me getting me right.

I am a current client at create young adult and I will agree with the other reviews about the social service lady and the new director is a lazy man he never comes out is office he lets the lady rice run the facility and the clients how she wants. she think she high mighty and she does nothing but make us clients feel stupid and like we have noone that loves us in this world. she talks to us like we dumb and she treats some staff like they stupid to we have witness this and we don't appreciate it. the clients and i are planning to make a group to forward complaints to DHS on what goes on in create young. she making up her own rules and we know our rights.

The new social service person Ms. Rice and Ms. Ali the no job finding lady are really bad they talk to clients like we are stupid. They talk about clients to clients that is very unprofessional of them, now we have a new director who only cares about decorating. no clients are moving out we are not going to do anything they want us to do until things change. Ms. Allen was always on us but we knew she cared and Mr. Soto to. we miss them bring them back.

I found that the staff at this nonprofit aren't helpful by any means . First, the supervisor Ms Allen has a very nasty attitude with clients as well as employees alike . Another thing is , I noticed that Soto doesn't really do much of anything . The clients are felons and street thugs . Stay away from here . They are not helpful whatsoever . If 30th intake places you here , you are screwed pretty much . The food is good but the security guards help more than the case workers . The case workers do nothing .
