Causes: Boards of Trade
Mission: To participate successfully as an "interested party" as defined by 19 u. S. C. Section 1677(9)(e) and (f), in legal actions against imports into the united states of freshwater crawfish tail meat. The legal actions will include, but not necessarily be limited to, action relating to the imposition of antidumping duties against imports of freshwater crawfish tail meat from the people's republic of china.
Programs: The organization participated as an "interested party," as defined by 19 u. S. C. 1677(9)(e) and (f), in two administrative reviews and two "new shipper" reviews conducted by the u. S. Department of commerce under the september 15, 1997, antidumping duty order against u. S. Imports of freshwater crawfish tail meat from china. With respect to the same antidumping duty order, the organization also participated in two cases before the u. S. Court of international trade related to the assessment, collection, and payment of antidumping duties for the benefit of the domestic crawfish industry.
