Programs: The safe routes to school program is a national effort geared towards getting more kids to walk and ride their bicycles to school in a safe and fun manner. Consider biking partnered with six columbus city schools on the west side to implement the program, and in 2014 focused its efforts in two suburban school districts. Consider biking provided the educational resources and bicycle activities to all schools.

consider biking focuses on its mission of having more people use their bicycles through leveraging access to central ohio's most significant workplaces. The organization encourages the creation of bicycle lanes on the city of columbus' primary roadways, provides education programs to workplaces through commuter 101, consults with workplaces to provide more access for cyclists and facilities for riders to store their bicycles during the workday, consults with human resource departments to develop incentives for employees to ride and works with wellness coordinators to include bicycling in the wellness program.

the ride of silence is a slow group ride in total silence. The purpose of the ride to silence is a show of response to the aggressive, intimidating and related behaviors that cyclists face when riding each days. The ride of silence remembers those killed by motorists, raises awareness that the community has a large cycling population and that cyclists are going to continue to use the community roadways on a regular basis.

the inaugural ohio women's bicycling summit brought 70 women from ohio and indiana together to find ways to get more woment into cycling. The event was the first of its kind in the nation and was recognized by the league of american bicyclists.
