Mission: The purpose of the conservation park is the conservation of virginia's natural resources and preservation of outdoor traditions. Conservation projects include: bob white quail restoration; living shorelines stewardship; and virginia personal watecraft campaign. Approximately 1450 of the 1500 acres is managed for wildlife and hunting is prohibited.
Programs: The organization oversees a 1500 acre woodland tract which is used for various game and woodland conservation programs and maintenance, protection and restoration programs. 50 of the acres are devoted to recreational facilities for member use. Three ranges are located on the property for use by school, scout & game commission groups for marksmanship training & hunter safety education.
