E. The big and little beaver creeks). The pequea creek watershed group applied for and was awarded an atlantic sunrise environmental stewardship program grant from the williams company and the conservation fund. The grant, the big beaver creek stream restoration project - esh project, assisted in the restoration of over 3,500 linear feet of stream frontage on along the big beaver creek. Streambank fencing and a riparian buffer were installed to complete this project last year. This project did not use up all the funds in this grant so the remaining funds will be used by the pequea creek watershed group to assist another landowner upstream from the esh project, the shirley madison stream restoration project. This project will restore over 2,500 linear feet of stream banks, install streambank fencing and a riparian buffer in the process. All of this work is slated for fall 2018. Once this work is complete this will close out this grant.
