Mission: The mission of connolly ranch is to connect kids with nature through farm based education programs where they learn about farm life, the role of farm animals, the concepts of ecology and sustainability along with an appreciation for nature. They also learn about organic gardening, the sources and benefits of healthy foods and an appreciation of how nature works to sustain us. It is the only working farm in napa county dedicated to education.
Programs: Summer camps: connolly ranch hosts an assortment of summer camps to connect children to nature through farm-based educational programs. Summer camps inlcude, life on the farm, art exploration and dirt to dine.
preschool programs: connolly ranch hosts an assortment of preschool programs to provide nature-based, tactile, interactive and experimental activities, promoting age-appropriate growth and development for young children in the napa valley. Preschool programs include sounds of silence, nature's play, earthlings outdoor playschool and fun faerie fridays.
partner programs: connolly ranch is committed to working with the local community. We host a demonstration garden for the u. C. Master gardeners, participate in programs such as cando cangrow by dedicating a garden bed to grow fresh food for the napa food bank, and donate plants to schools and community gardens. Connolly ranch also partners with like-minded groups like health cooking with kids, inc. To offer nutrition lessons and tackle issues around nutrition and obesity prevention based on napa county's public health initiative "live healthy napa county. "
