Connecting Hands OC, nonprofit is amazing. Families are helped with everyday needs including clothing, food, baby items, furniture, home goods...
Roxanne, Nick, & family give many hope for a better life. They also take time to listen to those that need it.
Sending all my love that they continue to make positive changes!
My children and I have volunteered at many different non profits. I have to say that volunteering at Connecting Hands has been the most rewarding - we see 100% of donations going to those families in need. Not only are they providing basic necessities to these families such as clothing, shoes, kitchen supplies, and personal hygiene supplies but also they also provide key life skills. Roxanne is a champion for these families - encouraging them to take charge of their lives and helps them improve it. They feel the love and support from Roxanne and all the volunteers but also from one another. There is a true sense of family when you walk in those doors of Connecting Hands. Being part of that as a volunteer is a blessing and we are so lucky to have found this non profit.

As a volunteer for Connecting Hands OC you get to experience the love and the energy that is given throughout events, the amazing feeling you get when you hand out a backpack for back to school, an Easter Basket or a Christmas present to a child in need. The smiles you put on that child’s face is priceless. Connecting Hands is not only about a Presents, it’s about helping families restart their lives. They provide furniture, slightly used clothing, toiletries and announcements for the next food distribution. It takes an entire army to put it all together.
Connecting Hands OC is not your typical non profit organization. I like to think of it more of one big happy family. This is a family that Roxanne and Nick have adopted as their own. They are the pair that never stop giving and never stop believing. They have an amazing team that helps make it happen. I’m proud to say I too am a part of this amazing organization.
I have volunteered and been part of a number of non-profit organizations, and none come close to Connecting Hands OC! The organization donates 100% of all proceeds to families in need. Connecting Hands OC reaches out to families and children to make sure that the little things that we overlook, like Halloween costumes, back to school supplies, Easter egg hunt, and Christmas events are organized for the families. But the unique part of this is that the organization teaches families to give back and help others in need as well. The group provides a place to feel safe and receive support and encouragement that they have the ability to change their lives for the better.
My experience with this organization has been eye-opening and incredible. Our founder Roxanne has inspired thousands of women in need reach out and support each other. This is more than a charity, to most, it is a family. The Facebook page is a virtual meeting place where the women can come 24 hours a day for support, prayer, advice, or just company. The organization helps with household necessities, clothing, and food. Plus there are events every few months such as a backpack distribution, Thanksgiving turkey distribution, holiday party, adopt-a-family, an Easter bunny event. My time volunteering with this group has been inspiring and incredibly rewarding.
I have followed and volunteered for Connecting Hands OC since the very beginning. From the founders Nick and Roxanne Day Ginali to the admins to the volunteers, I can say first hand that this organization is run on love, care for others, and the idea that everyone has something to offer. The amount of time and effort that’s put into these families by the team is beyond generous. Every aspect of this organization is for the betterment of the lives of each and every member. I am so proud to be a part of this family
I have been part of the the connecting hands family since day 1
Our admin Roxanne Day is the most sweetest, thoughtful and hilarious person you will ever meet. She is very loved by our families and kids. She is always making us smile and finds the perfect words to cheer us up when we are feeling down. Connecting hands has helped me so much. My family has received a little bit of everything from the office. From clothes, food, household items, a bed for my daughter and so many other things.I love volunteering at the office because being with everyone there makes me forget of all the bad stuff going on around us. I also love to give back everytime I can, makes me feel good to be able to give to others in need. I really enjoy being part of this family because we have made so many new friends and that's something that most of us needed the most (someone to talk too, that won't judge us) I am very thankful of being part of this wonderful family and I know they will always be there whenever I need them. Connecting hands has changed our life in so many wonderful ways and I am very blessed that I have a great friend like Roxanne and the rest of our beautiful admins 8n my life.
My name is Amanda and I am a single disabled mother of three beautiful children. I became a member of Connecting Hands OC about three years ago. This group has become family to me when I had no one in this world to turn to. My children have beds to sleep in, clothing, shoes, and food in there bellies that I could not provide them with because of this group. When my daughter was teased at school for not having the proper uniform Roxanne made sure that she was taken care of. To know that your child can go to school with confidence knowing they have what they need is a true blessing. Everyone in the group is always there to say a prayer, give support, lend a helping hand, or provide you with something you may need. Connecting Hands OC is more than a group it is truly a family. Roxanne Day Ginali and her husband Nick Ginali are the most nicest, loving, hard working people. They work so hard to make sure everyones needs are met. They go above and beyond on a daily basis for the group. We are truly blessed to be apart of Connecting Hands OC.
