Mission: To preserve and perpetuate the great traditions of classical music through the expansion of its public performance season, its educational programs, and by showcasing the excellence of regional and international talent.
Programs: (1. ) public performance season of orchestra concerts, chamber orchestra concerts, and fully staged operas in conjunction with connecticut lyric opera. (2. ) fun and inspiring presentations for new britain and other connecticut school systems which reach approximately 2,500 children, introducing them to classical music and the instruments of the symphony orchestra. (3. ) educational programs including the virtuosi music academy, the virtuosi summer music institute, the virtuosi youth orchestra, and the greve opera academy & music festival.
