Causes: Leadership Development
Mission: This is a national, non-competitive program for all youth ages 13 to 23 who are willing to accept the challenge of setting personal goals to better themselves and their communities. The program provides opportunities for young people to volunteer and develop their character.
Programs: Administer the congressional award program in order to promote initiative, achievment, and excellance among youth in the areas of public service, personal development, physical fitness, and expeditions.
