I would heartily recommend the Childrens Western Wish Foundation. In my city, this foundation grants wishes for individuals with disabilities to be a cowboy/cowgirl for 2 days. The individuals are treated as the stars of the rodeo(sorry for the participants who are doing all the work) and have their moment to shine. The individual who is selected receives clothing in their size, a straw hat that fits their head and which is signed by the participants, gets VIP seating at the rodeo and has a wonderful time. For many of our individuals with disabilities, there are not opportunities for them to be treated this way. Childrens Western Wish Foundation makes that happen-- not only for the individual, but for their family as well.
