This nonprofit is making a huge impact in our area. These guys are dedicated to giving back and I love being apart of helping.
This non-profit organization has helped me in one of the hardest times of my life I suffered from homelessness for 3 years in Columbia South Carolina, I had lost all hope in life until God made a way for me when there was no way and I was approved for an emergency housing voucher wish I was placed into my own apartment that I'm so grateful for, compass for hope help me make the trip to my grandma's funeral who lives in Ohio and without them I would not have got to go be with my grandma when we lay her to rest and I just want to say that the work that compass for Hope does for the homeless community is above and beyond. And I just want to say thank you again for everything that you do for people in need.
I have been volunteering with Compass for Hope the past 3 years. It has been amazing to see what all they have accomplished since I have started. I get just as much out of it as the guests do. They continuously give, in the way of toiletries and clothes but will also provide help with furnishing apartments and getting a job. It is an amazing organization and I feel blessed to be a part of it.
Compass For Hope has been an amazing resource for the homeless community. They have been a major voice in advocating for the homeless and less fortunate members of our society. Being able to help them in any way possible is such an honor to me. Seeing how selfless they are is and inspiration to anyone they have contact with. They truly give hope to everyone they help.
Your Rating: 5 stars 11/20/2022 I've enjoyed volunteering with Compass for hope many times over the last couple of years. They are always very organized and helpful and are continuously trying new things and new ways to serve those in need. And the people that have come to depend on Compass for help are always very sweet and appreciate all they do for them very much.
I have never met such a dedicated Group in my life. Their mission Is abundantly clear and when they show up they get it done!
It does not matter how hot or cold or windy or rainy it is You can count on Compass for Hope to be there with The most amazing love for humanity You have ever seen!
I love this non profit. The people who lead it practice what they preach. They are truly giving people who do their best to reach out and love some of the most hard hit people in our community. They interact with the people they serve with love, compassion and no judgment. They're always looking for new ways to give to the homeless, and treat them with respect and dignity.
I've been a volunteer for about a month and I truly love the work that is being done through this group. They provide the opportunity for those in need to take a hot shower which was something I had never seen. As a volunteer, we work together to provide those in need with everyday essential items like soap, socks, clothing and more. Every Sunday we provide these services and Compass of Hope has become a service that those in need have come to rely on. I'm so proud to work alongside these other amazing humans and those we serve.
This organization tirelessly works to help change lives in our area. Whether it is delivering food boxes to those who need a hand up, cooking hot meals to pass out every weekend, or collecting clothing, making blessing bags for the homeless and just generally loving people, I can’t think of a better group of people I could share my time with, or my donations on.
I absolutely love not only what this organization is doing for the homeless, but also how they’re doing it. They have an amazing team of volunteers of all ages that is like a family, working together and stepping in whenever they’re needed to do whatever is needed. Clients are treated with respect and dignity, met with smiles and laughter, and fed lunch that always smells and looks SO good.
This is a fantastic organization to be a part of
I've been looking for a place to volunteer that I could be hands on and see a difference. I met Mike about a year and a half ago....my church group started volunteering as often as we could with our youth group. As I got to know mike and the volunteers, I saw a need and found a place to help.. I committed to going and helping every Sunday during the pandemic, and whenever we were needed. I love the group and the mission...I SEE WHAT GETS DONE EVERY WEEK. I see how much passion and love they give. I love this group
