Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: To empower and strengthen high-need asian youth and their families by providing comprehensive youth development through education, employment training, advocacy and other support services. Its core programs are comprised under six major components including behavioral health, community and school-based outreach, education, intervention, leadership development, and workforce development.
Programs: Education - composed of grade k-12 educational programs which aim to develop youth academic achievement, financial independence, college advancement, career development, and technology skills.
special projects - preventing retaliation and escalation of community violence through conflict mediation and interventions. Deep understanding of youth culture is guided by linguistic and cultural competency needed to connect with the communities served. The special project programs work with multicultural communities to promote racial harmony, cultural understanding and community building.
workforce development - composed of programs to address the needs of youth and young adults in the workforce field. Programs are available to help youth and young adults in every aspect of workforce development: resume writing, interview skills development, computer training, and communications, and internship experience. Through the workforce development component, youth and young adults will be provided with the fundamental skills to build a foundation for their future careers.
