This year efforts have expanded to include intense work within defined communities located within the toyota corporations us manufacturing plants.

member serviceswe sponsored the 31st annual community transportation expo from june 10-15, 2017 in detroit, michigan. The expo brought together more than 1142 transportation professional from across the country to attend the professional development training workshops and trade fair. The two-day mobility rising symposium had 117 attendees and there were 264 transit professional attending the intensive full-day sessions. We taught two of the three-day sessions, six of the two-day sessions and five of the one-day intensive sessions. There were 109 expo exhibitors at the two-day trade fair. From july 1, 2016 - june 30, 2017 we conducted a total of 61 professional training workshops in 28 states to 1,525 transit professionals. Ctaa launched a revitalized member-centric capability to engage and grow members by streamlining the member structure. This included conducting a national member dues analysis, evaluating and developing a new member dues structure. In support of the new membership structure, a new membership brochure, redesigned website and with support from the skyward software created a members-only section of the website. This lead to achieving our total membership number of 973 members.

research and policy developmentctaa is in an agreement with the department of health for the administration for community involvement to conduct a project of inclusive transportation planning. Ctaa is part of a consortium that was awarded a contract to develop a new national center for mobility management.
