Mission: Community Residence Corporation (CRC) was incorporated in 1986 as a result of a divestiture from the Washtenaw County Association for Retarded Citizens. CRC works to provide supportive community living services to individuals with developmental and other disabilities in Southeastern Michigan.
CRC employs approximately 75 staff in 3 programs, two of which are licensed by the Michigan Department of Human Services and require 24-hour supervision.
CRC believes that disabled individuals should be empowered to make decisions about where they want to live and the types and level of support that is provided to them. CRC has evolved to focus on self-determination, which allows individuals to achieve freedom and authority over their lives. A subsidiary corporation, Community Living Network (CLN) was formed in 1993 to be a provider of Fiscal Intermediary/Self Determination services, CLN offers Fiscal services which enable individuals' choices and control over their lives.
Programs: Provide community based support for disabled persons in area counties. Services include home based support. Support is provided in one family style group home.
