Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Community Recreational Centers, Education, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Literacy, Mental Health, Remedial Reading & Encouragement, Sports, Substance Abuse Prevention
Mission: Casa strives to improve the quality of life for all winthrop residents and provide a safer community for children and youth by identifying and providing prevention resources. We will educate families and individuals about the effects of substance abuse as a complex issue and assist them in creating healthier environments by recognizing and utilizing our community's many strengths and assets.
Programs: The organization's mission is to foster and encourage participation in alternative activities such as a community youth center, to provide funding for programs of underprevileged persons, including adults and youth, to attend all programs offered by casa in the state of massachusetts and/or united states of america.
