Mission: Provide assistance to low income individuals through the community action self sufficiency programs and energy conservation assistance through the agency's weatherization program.
Programs: Liheap/weatherization - this program provides weatherization of low-income homes to save heating and cooling costs and conserve energy usage. 76 homes received weatherization to reduce heat/air conditioning costs and save energy. Energy share helped 108 households with their electrical service.
csbg - this program provides client budget counseling on self reliance and help to achieve that goal through rents, security deposits, and basic needs. The program also supports food pantries that currently serve over 1,748 local families.
home - this program provides for home rehab projects and some rental security deposit assistance. This year 19 homes were helped with services which allowed the owners to remain self reliant and in their homes and improved the conditions in which they were living.
