Causes: Job Training
Mission: To partner with the community to eliminate poverty and create social change through advocacy and essential services.
Programs: Alcance was created in 2014 as a result of the merging of two of the agency's successful employment programs; the community restoration project (crp) and the women ventures project (wvp). The mission of alcance is to provide youth and adults with employment services, work skills development and community engagement. We honor and serve those who are under-resourced, at-risk or involved in the justice system. The alcance program offers opportunities for low-income youth and adults to improve their quality of life and to reach their full potential through employment services, leadership development and meaningful community engagement.
calworks emergency payment program - emergency payments for services that enable calworks participants to retain their employment or continue their education.
santa cruz county immigration project (sccip) - provides outreach, immigration legal assistance (including appeals, waivers, citizenship applications, deferred action for childhood arrivals plus follow-up services), and information and referral services to santa cruz and north monterey counties immigrants.
