Mission: Cngc will create private and public partnerships to aid in creating viable opportunities and maximize success. Cngc will identify, study, assess and evaluate neighborhoods and their needs while purchasing and packaging properties for redevelopment.
Programs: The organization identifies under-utilized land and properties and secures control, creates a master plan for properties/land, completes feasibility studies, and solicits local community input and support. These properties will be positioned for further development in an effort to revitalize the entire city of columbus in neighborhoods that lack the capacity to improve. The organization will help with the creation of capacity for neighborhood development.
1410 cleveland avenue represents the management of a commercial building which is substantially rented to exempt organizations, including the city of columbus. The building is located in a targeted area in the city of columbus and was acquired to provide increase management and operational expertise to improve its overall viability. This activity ended in october 2017.
