Mission: Columbia County Arts, Inc. (CCA) is a volunteer organization whose goal is to assist and promote the artists and arts organizations in Columbia County
for the education, inspiration and enjoyment of its citizens.
Geographic areas served: Columbia County Georgia and the surrounding area
Programs: Columbia County Arts supports the programs of numerous arts groups in our county thoughout the year, but our most direct contact with the community is in hosting Art in the Park. This event hosts area visual artists and performers for a day full of festivities open to the public. This art festival includes a vast array of performances including dance, song, music, poetry and acting as well as over 40 visual artists. Art in thePark also includes a demonstration tent where guests can see how artwork is created, loads of childrens activities, and our annual sidewalk chalk contest.

My sons did the sidewalk chalk contest. One has done it two years the other just this past year. They really enjoy it. My 12 YO has CP and it was great therapy for him, he was completely covered in chalk. The music and other activities were great as well. This is an event our community needs to continue.
I've attended and participated in "Arts in the Park" for the past two years. Not only are the organizers friendly and informative, it's clear to me they are dedicated to promoting the arts in our community. This arts council demonstrates enthusiasm for both professional and amateur art groups of all ages. They welcome diversity, encourage family-oriented activities, and offer a much-needed venue for artists in our area.
I have taken part in several of the Arts in the Park events that the Columbia County Arts Inc have put together. They are always great events giving area artists and performers a forum to show their work and share their talents. The events have always been well organized and have always been very responsive to our needs. They really do make an effort to include every age group and I look forward to every event. Great work!
My daughter and I have extremely enjoyed the Art in the Park Festival. We love the variety of artists and performers we can enjoy. My daughter entered the sidewalk chalk contest last year and had the best time creating her masterpiece. She didn't win the contest, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
