Causes: Environment, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management
Mission: To support the efforts of individual and non-profit community groups statewide working to conserve and enhance the natural resources of local watersheds.
Programs: River watch: to work with voluntary stewards to monitor water quality and other indicators of watershed health and utilize this high quality data to educate citizens and inform decision makers about the condition of colorado's waters.
inflow network: information dissemination to citizen groups, government agencies, legislators, business groups and other non-profit organizations. The network distributes information in various ways including (but not limited to) weekly electronic web-based newsletters, published water reports, special alerts, conference presentations and hostings, events and training programs.
measurable results: this program scientifically documents the effects of restoration efforts on water bodies in colorado that receive restoration funding from the state of colorado.
