Causes: Nonprofit Management
Mission: Cndc improves the quality of life in colorado. Cndc's mission is to foster the development of a healthy and vibrant nonprofit sector in colorado by enhancing the effective and efficient use of community resources and by supporting the development of charitable projects and nonprofits. Cndc provides comprehensive fiscal sponsorship to charitable groups (called "projects"). Projects are part of cndc's corporate and legal structure and cndc provides all back-office functions, including finance, hr and liability insurance for projects. Projects in turn provide a wide range of services to colorado communities. Combined cndc's projects serve thousands of coloradoans a year with services as varied as healthcare advocacy and reform, education reform, public health services, family support and advocacy, and a variety of other human services.
Programs: Families forward resource center--a project of cndc that works with families providing case management, family advocacy, counseling services, and support groups for women and parents to create a safe, healthy, and connected community.
colorado children's healthcare access program--a project of cndc that works to support primary care medical homes to improve health outcomes for children and advance health equity through behavioral health integration, care coordination training, intensive preventive care programs, and services on behalf of state medicaid and the regional care coordination organizations.
harm reduction action center--a project of cndc that works closely with lawmakers, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and the general community towards a common vision of a healthy and safe colorado by providing direct services to curb the spread of hiv, hepatitis c, and accidental overdoses among people who inject drugs.
